Alan E. Muraoka (Set Designer) Theatrical projects have included the critically acclaimed productions for the Long Beach Opera of Ricky Ian Gordon’s ORPHEUS AND EURIDICE staged in an Olympic swimming pool, THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK staged in an underground parking garage. For the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, TRYING and VINCENT IN BRIXTON. Initially an assistant set designer on the Broadway productions of ON YOUR TOES, THE TAP DANCE KID, SMILE and JERRY’S GIRLS. Alan also works as a production designer for film, credits including BaadAsssss and Edmond. Alan earned his BA from Yale University and MFA from New York University.
