East West Players is seeking a Marketing and Development Intern who will work closely with the EWP staff to promote the 48th Anniversary Season. Through this internship, the intern will work on comprehensive initiatives as part of the season, including: building partnerships with local businesses, supporting subscriber and individual giving campaigns, researching marketing partners for our Mainstage productions, and assisting the producer of our One Night Only summer event. This is a 10-week paid internshp.

SKILLS REQUIRED
A displayed enthusiasm for theatre, interest in the Asian Pacific American artistic community, and stamina to multitask in a fast-paced environment are key requirements. Applicant must be internet-research & MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Working knowledge of Photoshop & Adobe Creative Suite, and web design is a plus. Applicant should display pleasant, clear, & effective communication skills (in writing, in person, and on the phone) for dealing with donors, patrons, vendors, community partners, and board members. Applicant should have the flexibility to work occasional nights/weekends during special events.
